The OpenEye camera model number scheme gives you all the important information about the camera at a glance.
OpenEye’s camera model number scheme is designed to simplify the process of pairing cameras with compatible mounting accessories. The model number scheme gives you all the important information about the camera upfront, including accessory compatibility, indoor/outdoor, housing style, resolution, and camera-based analytics functionality.
Every OpenEye Camera is identified by a line of letters and numbers.
The first two numbers after OE-C will indicate the series which is shared by both camera and compatible accessories. This means all 30-series accessories are compatible with 30-series cameras and all 20-series accessories are compatible with 20-series cameras.
There are also some universal camera accessories that work with multiple camera models, such as the pole mount kit and waterproof adapter. Those will be identified as series 00.
