STANDARD WARRANTY

OpenEye warrants to its authorized resellers and distributors that all new OpenEye products will be free from defects in workmanship and material under normal use for a period of two years after the date of purchase. For any defective product that falls under this warranty OpenEye will either elect to repair the defective product or replace it with a new or factory reconditioned product of equal or greater value.

Exceptions to this are listed below:

• Five years on all recorders*
• Five years on all fixed cameras (defined as any camera which does not contain a motorized pan/tilt mechanism)*
• Five years on non-PTZ repositionable cameras, with the exception of the motorized pan/tilt components which are covered under a two-year warranty term*

All products will be covered by a one-year advance replacement warranty**. OpenEye will warrant all otherwise out of warranty replacement parts and repairs for 90 days from the date of OpenEye shipment.

Repairs made necessary by reason of misuse, alteration, accident, or normal wear and tear are not covered under this warranty. Consumable components subject to normal wear and tear, include, but are not limited to, IR and White Light LEDs, Dome Covers, and Fans, and the warranty coverage for such components reflects the expected gradual degradation of these components under normal use.

* Effective on qualifying products sold as of October 1, 2025. Qualifying products sold prior to October 1, 2025 are covered by a three-year warranty.

**Requires corresponding security deposit. For purchases outside of the USA and Canada, Advanced Replacement will be limited to replacement of the defective components only, not the entire product.
