OpenEye announces an increase in the maximum supported channels on Apex recorders.
Liberty Lake, WASH. – January 24, 2019 – OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud managed video surveillance solutions, announces an increase in the maximum supported channels on Apex recorders. The maximum channel count per server has increased to 128 offering flexibility and cost savings for installations that need high channel counts.
Additional channels can be added at the time of purchase and are available for existing recorders in the field but may require both hardware and software upgrades. The increased channel support offers savings for installations, especially those that need to add only a few cameras, without adding the cost and time of installing and configuring an additional recorder. For more information on the updated system capabilities and upgrade requirements, refer to the Product Brief. Installers should use the Apex System Configurator to calculate the camera throughput for the camera settings and compare the total to the maximum throughput on an upgraded system.
