OpenEye is proud to announce our certification in ISO/IEC 27001:2022, marking another step forward in ensuring OpenEye Web Services (OWS) is as secure as possible for users.

ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is a globally recognized standard for information security management, helping provide a structured approach to protecting sensitive and personal information within an organization.

Through achieving this certification, OpenEye is able to assure customers that it has in place industry-best standards and practices to keep their information secure and confidential, and their data protected from attacks.

OpenEye founder and CEO Rick Sheppard said, “Receiving an ISO 27001 certification is a significant milestone that demonstrates the high standards and rigorous controls we have put in place to secure and protect our customers’ data.”

The ISO/IEC 27001:2022 is based on the Plan-Do-Check-Act (PDCA) cycle, requiring organizations to have a thorough set of policies, procedures, and controls in place so information security risks can be comprehensively managed, and that information maintains confidentiality, integrity, and availability.

OpenEye continues to prioritize the security and protection of our customers and their data. This certification demonstrates the standard to which we hold ourselves and the OWS platform so our users can continue to take advantage of powerful cloud-managed video security.
