OpenEye and SightLogix have announced the integration between OpenEye Web Services and SightLogix 's SightSensor HD thermal detection cameras.
Liberty Lake, WA and Princeton, NJ April 10, 2019 – OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud managed video surveillance solutions, and SightLogix, the smart thermal camera technology leader, have announced the integration between OpenEye Web Services (OWS) and SightLogix ‘s SightSensor HD thermal detection cameras.
The SightSensor HD is a dual-video smart camera that uses thermal imaging to detect intruders with great accuracy in outdoor areas and a visible imager for alarm assessment. OpenEye OWS is an online video management solution that provides actionable business intelligence by combining divergent event data generated on site and combining it with video verification.
With this integration, end users, dealers and central stations gain a highly reliable intruder detection, video management and alarm verification solution for protecting outdoor areas. When an outdoor intruder is detected by a SightSensor, event data is sent with pre, post and live video directly to OWS to generate alerts and real-time notifications to users or central station automation software, including Bold Technologies ManitouNEO, MAS MASterMind, I-View Now, and others. Businesses gain actionable intelligence by improving the accuracy of alerts and security personnel can verify alarms, view video details about the intrusion and proactively respond to threats in real time.
Users can learn more about the integrated solution in OpenEye ‘s booth 26055 at ISC West, April 10-12, 2019.
“Outdoor security requires accurate intruder detection and video detail to verify alarms in real time,” said John Romanowich, President and CEO, SightLogix. “Our collaboration provides a complete solution, making outdoor analytic events actionable by using OpenEye ‘s web services to send events to central stations and push notifications to users.”
“We ‘re excited to offer this capability to OpenEye and SightLogix users,” said Jon Swatzell, OpenEye Vice President, Systems Engineering. “OpenEye is committed to offering integrated solutions through the OpenEye Web Services ecosystem that add value and functionality for our customers and answer real user needs.”
