OpenEye announces the integration of the OpenEye Web Services platform with System Galaxy access control and security management from Galaxy Control Systems.
Liberty Lake, WASH. – October 10, 2018 – OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud managed video surveillance solutions, announces the integration of the OpenEye Web Services platform with System Galaxy access control and security management from Galaxy Control Systems.
System Galaxy software is a complete access control and security management solution. This integration enables System Galaxy ‘s monitoring software to retrieve video from OpenEye video surveillance systems through OpenEye Web Services (OWS) and allow users to view it natively in System Galaxy. Users can view both live and recorded video in reference to access control events. System Galaxy establishes a connection to recorders using OpenEye Web Services ‘ Web Connect technology, improving connection reliability and eliminating the need to manually manage connection settings or forward ports.
“Galaxy is a valued long-term partner and we are excited to announce this new cloud integration,” said Ian Siemer, OpenEye VP of Product Development and Marketing. “We have many mutual customers who have been anxiously awaiting this news.”
“We are excited to offer this integration with OpenEye Web Services and look forward to continuing our partnership that we both have enjoyed for more than ten years,” said Rick Caruthers, Galaxy Control Systems Executive Vice President. “This new product advances our VMS offering on both our traditional On-Premise and Cloud-based access systems.”
