New OpenEye 4MP micro dome camera offers HD video in a compact, unobtrusive body

OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud-managed video surveillance solutions, announces a new 4MP micro dome camera equipped with adaptive IR, True WDR, and a built-in microphone. The OE-C1011D4 will be available at the beginning of November.

The 4MP OE-C1011D4 is a compact high definition indoor dome camera, just over 4 inches in diameter, equipped with a 2.8mm fixed lens that provides crisp and clear images. This camera provides superior images in varied lighting environments including nighttime using True WDR, True Day/Night and infrared LEDs with a range up to 98’. Adaptive IR technology prevents overexposure of objects close to the camera further enhancing the low light performance.

For easy installation the micro dome camera has an internal network cable connection and internal onboard audio and alarm/sensor connections. Internal connections allow simple, streamlined installation directly on a ceiling and the camera is compatible with a wide range of mounting accessories for wall or pendant installations. A paintable dome cover is available free upon request for the OE-C1011D4 to effortlessly change its color from white to black, or paint the cover a custom color to match the installation environment.

Like all OpenEye cameras, this micro dome model includes progressive Smart Compression which reduces network throughput and allows users to retain more days of video using the same amount of storage without impacting video quality.

The OE-C1011D4 is ONVIF™ compliant, NDAA compliant, and fully compatible with the OpenEye Web Services platform, allowing multiple users to concurrently view high-quality images and set up cameras and recorders remotely using a web browser.
