OpenEye's OE-MLX24 recorder is an all-in-one, plug n' play IP recording solution that gives users the flexibility to grow their camera count over time without adding or replacing the recorder.
Liberty Lake, WASH. – February 7, 2020 – OpenEye, a leading provider of cloud-managed video surveillance solutions, announces a new 24-port cloud-managed recorder with a built-in PoE switch. The OE-MLX24 offers the largest channel count for a PoE recorder that OpenEye has offered to date providing users the flexibility to grow their camera count over time without adding or replacing the recorder. This recorder is an all-in-one, plug n’ play IP recording solution in a 2U all-metal chassis that is fully integrated with OpenEye Web Services.
The OE-MLX24 cloud-managed recorder features dual NICs, relay/sensor connections and runs a secure Linux operating system with the option to upgrade to Windows 10. The solid-state OS drive improves reliability and provides faster boot times and the built-in 24-port PoE switch provides single-cable connection for PoE cameras and a built-in configuration wizard for Apex server software create a hassle-free setup.
The Apex VMS software combined with OpenEye Web Services is a cloud-managed video surveillance solution that offers complete remote operation and administration, single sign-on, online user management and cloud-based health monitoring with real-time alerts. Network setup using OpenEye’s Web Connect technology eliminates the need for port forwarding or entering IP settings for remote clients, greatly simplifying the initial installation and ongoing maintenance.
This recorder is NDAA compliant and designed for users who are looking for performance, flexibility and long-term scalability with the ability to add additional cameras as well as upgrade options for Microsoft Windows OS, higher power processor, and increased memory.
