Your will have a slow frame rate when cameras are at to maximum resolution because of the size of the images. The frame rate is a total frame rate setting at minimum resolution (360x240). When increase resolution by one step, if reduces your total frames to half of the original frames due to the image being twice the size. When you go to the highest resolution you cut the total frames to one quarter (1/4) the total frames because the image is now four times the original size.
