Most integrations between central station software and video systems rely on port forwarding, DDNS, VPN access, or open inbound ports on the network firewall to facilitate remote connectivity. Changes to an end-user's network can easily result in lost connectivity.
OpenEye Web Services eliminates this complex and potentially unreliable network setup by using Web Connect to establish a trusted outbound connection from the onsite recorder. MASterMind places connection requests through the OWS cloud portal and Web Connect completes the connection to serve up video every time.
