Liberty Lake, WASH. – July 13, 2010 OpenEye has announced the release of its new indoor and outdoor IR dome cameras, the 100-Series. This new camera series expands OpenEye’s selection of easy to install cameras. The fixed lenses and toolless 3-axis gimbal allow the installer to make easy 360° adjustments during installation which reduces the time required to install the camera. OpenEye 100-Series IR dome cameras come with everything needed for a quick and easy out-of-the-box installation.
For areas that require round-the-clock surveillance, the IR domes have 24 high-intensity LEDs and can record at up to 550 lines of resolution in 0 lux. With an 850 nanometer wavelength the 100-Series cameras have a night-time recording range of up to 50 feet. An integrated optical lens gasket eliminates infrared bleed and helps to provide a clear night time image.
