OpenEye Pajama Donation Brightens Christmas for Spokane Children

LIBERTY LAKE, WASH. – December 11, 2009 – OpenEye announced today the donation and distribution of new children’s pajamas to children in need in the Spokane area.

As we are all keenly aware, 2009 presented challenges for many families. Sky high unemployment and increased rates of poverty have taken an especially disheartening toll on a large number of children. OpenEye recognized this as an opportunity to give back to the community in a new and special way this holiday season. With the help of its employees, community businesses, and friends, OpenEye purchased over 2000 pair of high-quality children’s pajamas to donate to local children in need in cooperation with the following organizations:
- Vanessa Behan Foundation
- St. Anne's Children and Family Center
- St. Margaret's Shelter for Women and Children
- Anna Ogden Hall
- Shriners Hospital
- CAPA (child birth and parenting alone)
- The Children's Village

The pajamas, distributed this week, will hopefully bringing a smile to each child’s face on Christmas morning.
