At the heart of the MICROS 3700 is the Sybase SQL standard relational database management system (RDBM). Sybase is a robust relational database proven successful in high-volume, transaction-oriented environments. It is a powerful database solution that provides excellent data access with minimum system administration.
OpenEye’s integration with MICROS 3700 represents the most comprehensive and cost effective solution on the market to date. Offering complete integration without the need to purchase a SIM license from Micros for the 3700 protocol, OpenEye’s RediWatch software allows multiple 3700 systems to be connected to an OpenEye DVR using a standard network connection. RediWatch allows viewing of transaction data in real time with customizable alarms and searches based on UPC number, user name/number, transaction type, keyword, item amount, change rendered, item quantity and virtually any other data type. POS data is linked with the recorded video using SQL and can be exported independently or exported with the associated video allowing backups to be searched and on screen display of transaction data to be toggled on/off.
RediWatch is fully integrated with OpenEye’s Radius Multi-Site software allowing full administration of multiple locations simultaneously including monitoring live POS data, POS alarms, POS Search and playback.
