LIBERTY LAKE, WASH. – June 15th, 2008 – OpenEye announced today the release of version 3.6 of their Server Software for X and Xr-Series DVRs and NVRs.
The newest version of the OpenEye Server Software includes advances in the areas of intelligent search functions, account management and Network (IP) video integration.
New intelligent search functions include a motion "smart search" feature will now allows users to view a histogram style display of motion levels in recorded video and playback only segments exceeding a set threshold.
A new video bookmarking feature has also been added allowing flagging of recorded video for later review.
Version 3.6 of OpenEye’s Server Software boasts a major improvement in user management with the addition of Microsoft Active Directory support.
IT personnel can now use existing domain user management tools to administer accounts on OpenEye DVRs and tie privileges to system logins.
Event logging has also been improved to track all operations performed by a user account on the DVR.
Network video integration has received a face lift in v3.6 with a dedicated configuration screen, a more intuitive menu structure and the addition of a camera finder to aid in setting up network devices.
OpenEye Server software version 3.6 is fully compatible with all 2nd and 3rd generation X-Series and Xr-Series DVRs and NVRs.
