OpenEye Releases New 300 Series Line of Optix Cameras

 
  April 27, 2007, Spokane WA - OpenEye, Inc. announced a new addition to its Optix family of cameras today with the release of the 300 Series fixed dome cameras. Available in two models, with or without an integrated heater, the new 300 Series cameras offer gimbal flexibility for near 360° positioning and a durable vandal proof enclosure.

Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, 300 Series cameras support NTSC and PAL video standards, use a 1/3 format SONY CCD color sensor, and record at 540 TV lines in daylight. Cameras equipped with the optional heater are capable of operating at temperatures as low as -24°F. All 300 Series cameras are equipped with water proof seals at all connection points and have an ingress protection rating for moisture resistance of 6 (IPX6).
