- OpenEye’s parent company PCO, Inc. announced today that they are the major
sponsor for the 2006 Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery benefit breakfast.
The 2006 “Keeping Kids Safe” benefit breakfast is being held at the Red Lion
hotel on June 7, from 7:30 – 8:30. Ron Pyle, professor of communications at
Whitworth College will be the guest speaker. Guests will learn about the Crisis
Nursery and what they can do to protect children throughout the Inland Northwest
community from abuse and neglect through volunteering or through a multiyear pledge
of financial support.
“The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery provides a valuable service to our community. It’s
up to each and every one of us to do our part to support organizations like this.” said
Richard Sheppard PCO’s Chief Executive Officer.
The Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery is a community-funded, non-profit organization dedicated
to the prevention of child abuse and neglect in the Spokane, Washington area. For more than
19 years, the Crisis Nursery has been a refuge for young children at risk of abuse and neglect,
and a source of support for their parents.
