OpenEye Announces New Employee Community Service Program

- OpenEye, Inc. today announced the success of the newly implemented
community service program for employees at OpenEye.
The program, originally launched in the spring of 2005, consists of
encouraging employees to work at least 16 hours of paid community service
annually. Over the last 6 months OpenEye employees have donated over 600
hours to noteworthy community projects.
Projects include the construction of a playground at the YMCA, construction
of a home with habitat for humanity, adopting a mile of the Inland Northwest
Centennial Trail and volunteer services for Vanessa Behan Crisis Nursery
among others. “We firmly believe in doing what we can to make our community
a better place for all of us.” said Rick Sheppard OpenEye’s CEO. “I am proud
to have the opportunity to work with such a dedicated group of individuals.”
OpenEye expects employee community service hours to exceed 1000 hours in
2005.
