OpenEye Reveals OpenEye HDDR Version 2.0
Official Release Date
  August 13, 2003, Spokane WA - OpenEye Inc., manufacturer of the OpenEye digital security line among other OEM PC-based products, made public today that the official release date of the OpenEye HDDR version 2.0 software is set for October 1, 2003. The improvements within the system are vast. Besides the ability to internally store up to 1.8TB, PC Open has added additional search features, a FFW/RWD slide bar (contained in Search), an increased number of supported PTZ protocols, added volume control in setup, and improved controls of the PTZ functions. The official list of new features will be released at a later date.

Senior engineer John Okert stated that, “We are always open to suggestions on improvement, and we have listened to our clients as well as our engineering team in the development of Version 2.0. Many of the suggestions we’ve listened to were incorporated into Version 2.0 to better help our clientele and stay on the cutting edge of the DVR market.”
